Explore Optimise

Ideas, tools, conversations and experiences for understanding yourself — and exploring what might be possible.

There are different ways to explore.

Optimise doesn't only happen in a one-to-one conversation.

The ideas behind Optimise can be explored in different ways: through something you read, watch or listen to; a practical tool you try for yourself; a conversation that introduces a different perspective; or an experience that gives you space to explore something more deeply.

You don't need to follow everything. Just as with Optimise itself, the aim is to notice what feels relevant, useful or interesting to you and begin there.

Digital Optimise

Explore in your own time.

Digital Optimise is being developed as a way to explore and apply the Optimise approach beyond one-to-one work.

At its heart will be the Living Map, a way of exploring the different territories that can shape how we think, feel, perform and move through our lives. Rather than assuming every area is relevant to everyone, it will help you notice what matters to you, understand the connections between different parts of your Map and decide where you might want to focus.

Each territory will bring together psychology-informed ideas with practical ways to explore them, through a developing mix of short videos, guided exercises, reflections and resources. The aim is not simply to learn about psychology, but to use it to understand yourself and translate that understanding into everyday life.

Digital Optimise will develop in stages, with new resources, tools and ways to engage added over time.

Optimise Community

Explore alongside others.

Some of the most useful shifts in understanding can come from encountering a perspective or experience different from our own.

Optimise Community will bring together conversations, ideas, expertise and lived experience around the different territories we navigate, creating opportunities to encounter perspectives beyond our own and explore what they might help us see differently.

As the Community develops, this may include talks, panels, interviews, live conversations and opportunities to connect around particular areas of interest.

Some Digital Optimise learning may also be accompanied by small coaching groups, creating space to explore what you're learning, ask questions, share perspectives and think about how to apply it in your own life.

You won't need to belong to one particular type of community. Different conversations will matter to different people and you can follow the ones that matter to you.

Optimise Retreats

Space to step away.

Retreats are part of the future vision for Optimise: small, thoughtfully designed experiences that create space away from everyday demands to explore something more deeply.

The intention is to bring together elements of the Optimise approach with reflection, conversation, learning and time to think, in environments chosen to support the experience.

Optimise Retreats are in development, with the first experiences to be announced.
